Reflection

I had a lot of ideas in terms of conception, but it was always easy to get too carried away and lose sight of the theme. When I first created Arial as the original font, I was going to make a set of Arial fonts for the alien system, but I forgot the connection with Arial when I was researching and trying, which led me to revert and try again.
I couldn't borrow the x-ray equipment, so I had to use ps to try and make a similar effect, but when I put it together with the font the white light and shadow of the x-ray blended in with the font, and it didn't give a good representation of the flowers and distinguish the text. So in the end a more personalised version with the flowers highlighted was made for comparison.
One particular piece was a 3D print where the ink had run out and half of it didn't go on. I was distressed at first thinking I wouldn't be able to use it. But a classmate told me that this might be right in line with my theme of digitally erasing to represent the truth in a disappearing history, telling us that we should deeply reflect and question the traditional perceptions we once always identified with, and keep searching for the truth.
